he Urus, also known as Aurochs, was the name of one of the large, wild ancestors of domestic cattle. The Spanish fighting bull as we know it today is still very close in appearance to the Urus, which also happens to be the name of Lamborghini’s new SUV, as is tradition with the brand’s nomenclature.

And Wednesday evening brought a very special such bull to the Grand Hills Hotel in Broummana, where Saad & Trad marked the arrival of the Lamborghini Urus, the third model in the brand’s lineup and its first sport utility vehicle.

Guests and the media were left in awe as the Urus, garbed in a Blu Astraeus pain scheme, entered the courtyard enveloped in dramatic smoke, which only served to further accentuate this remarkable SUV’s captivating aura.

Offering the outrageous performance and astounding handling dynamics of a supercar combined with the versatility and practicality of an SUV, the Urus marks Lamborghini’s first foray into the highly competitive SUV market.

But it comes prepared with the Lamborghini DNA, featuring a 4.0-liter V-8 twin-turbo engine that generates 650 horsepower and 850 Newton-meters of torque. That mill can propel this beast from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 305 km/h.

The Urus features an all-wheel-drive system that comes with active torque vectoring and four-wheel steering, carbon ceramic brakes, adaptive air suspension and active roll stabilization for maximum safety and comfort.
